的 新墨西哥州高等教育部 and NOT ag亚游集团App下载 sets the Establishing 居住要求 for tuition 目的. 的se requirements apply to US Citizens and those students who established Permanent Resident Status or who have applied for Permanent Resident Status (see additional 非市民资料如下).

Initially a student is classified as a resident or non-resident for tuition 目的 based on information supplied at the time of admission or readmission.  A 小册子(PDF档案) detailing residency is available in our office, "司法常务官办公室," and most 其他校区招生办公室.

的re are five basic residency requirements (residency petitions are processed twice per year, before the fall semester and again before the spring semester.... 每一个人 在夏季会议期间收取州内费率):

A student must physically reside in the state of 新墨西哥 for the 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the term in which the student is filing for.  学生 cannot begin to complete the 12 month requirement until their 18th birthday. 证明 that is usually provided for this requirement is usually fulfilled by a yearly lease, if a yearly lease cannot be supplied then a lease agreement and a notarized letter from landlord stating the fulfilled requirement must be supplied in replacement of 年度协议.

学生 who are 19 to 23 years of age cannot be approved for residency if they are financially dependent on their parents or legal guardians who are non-residents of 新墨西哥. A minor's residence is classified the same as his/her parents' or legal 卫报》的.

Dependent Minor: (minor of parents or legal guardians who have relocated to NM)

Any student who is financially dependent and moves to NM with whom they are dependent upon shall be granted residency based upon his/her parents/legal guardians, with the 适当的文档. 如:

• Parental/legal guardian established employment or retirement in NM

Residency regulations require the completion of at least two overt acts which support the student's declaration of intent to become a permanent resident. 没有任何文件 作为公开行为提交的可以来自州外.

• Members of an Indian nation, tribe, or pueblo located wholly or partially in NM, regardless of residence (Certificate of Indian Blood, or similar documentation and 形式要求)

All communication from NMT is done through your NMT email, this is also where any correspondence concerning your residency petition 将 held.  居留权 将 reflected in your student account and your student bill.
