Instructors have the option of offering classes live with 变焦 at regular class times and recording the classes for later review, or pre-recording all of their lectures for students to view when they are able. Check with your instructor see if your live presence online is required.

Links to live lectures can be found by clicking on the 变焦 tab in the left-hand navigation. You can also find links for all of your lectures in your calendar, accessible from the menu on the far left of the page.

The delivery of your 距离 class may remain the same, only instructors will be teaching from their office or home. They may still use Adobe Connect, or they may decide to change over to 变焦

Check and modify your notifications

Try this fix: (1) Go to zoom.us/signup and create a basic 变焦 account with your NMT 电子邮件地址. Once you are finished setting up your account, log out. (2)然后单击 on the 变焦 activation link again. This will elevate your new basic account to a licensed account and give you access to the 变焦 tab in Canvas.

Your instructors may require that you use a webcam and microphone so they may see 听你说. Alternately, you can use the chat window to ask questions and make comments. Here's a link to a recommended combination webcam and mic.

You can try to watch the recordings of the lectures, or download the lecture video file to your computer and watch it. To download a video, click on it to open it in a browser window and click on the downward arrow in the upper right.

If you have a laptop with a wireless receiver you can drive to a business from which you can access a wi-fi hotspot from within your car. On campus, you can park in the Fidel and Lopez parking lots to access Tech wi-fi. Download lectures and other material from Canvas to study later.

Alternately, if you have a cell phone you can enable a local hotspot using your data 计划. 联系 your cell service provider for more information; most now have special offers for those struggling in the current pandemic.
